Now under new management and ownership! Something for everyone! We are open year round, and family groups are welcome! There is a Two Night minimum stay year round in all properties.

If you are looking for something "unique" you have found it! We are a small waterfront resort "catering to families" located on beautiful Horseshoe Bend in Lake Ozark, Missouri. We are located at the 2 mile marker by water, and are close to all the area attractions by land and water.

Accomodations: We offer one bedroom/one bath, two bedroom/one bath, and two bedroom/two bath waterfront units. We also offer adjoining units creating 3 & 4 bedroom units great for large families or groups. We also offer a 3 bedroom 2 bath private waterfront home!

All units are Non-Smoking, and sorry No Pets in any property!!

NEW DOCK with 12X30 Boat Slips - (Included in price of unit) (Must reserve these in advance).

All units have a kitchen with stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, basic dishes/silverware, linens (bring your own beach towels), coffee maker, toaster, deck, grill, and one or two sofa sleepers, cable tv, vcr.

Select units offer jetted tubs, fireplaces, washer/dryers, WiFi, DVD players, dishwashers. Most all of our units have been totally remodeled!

Things To Bring: Beach towels, shampoo, hair dryer, pool/lake toys & rafts, fishing gear, fishing license, iron/board (not all units have irons, please ask)

We supply: Toilet paper, paper towels, bar soap, hand soap, dish soap, trash bags. We have "pack n' plays" for babies (these must be reserved ahead of time).

Our amenities include: large pool, inground hot tub, large sundeck with plenty of loungers and tables and chairs, sand/pebble beach, playground, martini deck over the water, coin laundry, paddle boat rentals, small convenience store, free movie rentals, boat ramp, trailer parking, swim dock, boat slips, WiFi in lobby and select units, great fishing, quiet cove for swimming and floating. We are very close to the Outlet Mall, Bagnell Dam, Restaurants, Golf, Mini Golf, Go Karting, Boat Rentals, Shopping, Water parks, and much more.

Big Bear Resort is a "family place" and we like it that way. For that reason we look forward to your cooperation in appropriate behavior. Foul language and behavior will not be tolerated, and will be grounds for eviction without refund! We all love to have fun, but if your intention is for "Wild Partying" we ask that you seek alternate accomodations!

Check in time is between 3-6pm. Please check with office if you are going to be later than that. Check out time is by 10:30 am sharp! You must be at least 25 years of age to rent a unit. You must be 30 years of age to rent a private home. There is a two night minimum stay year round! Deposits are required to make a reservation. We accept Master Card, Visa, or Discover. A valid credit card is "Required" to make a reservation! No personal checks at check in!

Booking Fee: There is a $10.00 booking fee per unit on all reservations!

Deposits: 1-3 nights - 1 night deposit, 4-6 nights - 2 nights deposit, 7+ nights - 3 nights deposit.

Cancellations: PLEASE READ: We are a small resort, and when we reserve a unit for you, we take that unit off the market to anyone else to rent. A deposit is your guarantee that you will receive the unit requested on the dates requested, and our guarantee that you will pay for the unit requested. Therefore, there are NO REFUNDS if cancellation is within 30 days prior to the date of reservation. There are no refunds for late check in's, or early departures. You are responsible for all nights you have reserved.

If you have to cancel less than 30 days, deposit is not refundable! Cancellations of more that 30 days will receive a refund of deposit, BUT LESS THE BOOKING FEE.

Check Out - Please double check units before you leave! We are not responsible for shipping back items left behind!!

Linens - PLEASE NOTE: Since we are a small resort, and due to high costs of linen service, there is no daily linen exchange. If you are staying 4 nights or longer, you will receive one free linen exchange. 3 nights or less there will be a $5.00 charge per exchange. We do provide each unit with an ample supply of linens for the length of your stay. If you should need additional, the above will apply. Thank you!!
